Tuesday Morning Sketches #241

Happy Tuesday to you!  Time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!! :)  Want to see my card?

My DP from DCWV Mariposa matstack.  The image is a fun rubber stamp that I've had forever by Rubber Stampede.  I love it, but it is mounted crooked on the wood so can be a challenge to use!!  I used Fleur de Lis Spellbinders.  This set makes a square cut, but I folded my paper (you can barely tell right in the middle) so that I could have a long, rectangle shape. (I cut it only, did not do the embossing step) The brads are Kelly Davis Designs.

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is The Stamp Doctor!!  They have stamps and accessories and tools including a wonderful selection of dies!!!  (I'm starting to love dies almost as much as embossing folders!!! :) )

We've got a great sketch for you by Melissa... I didn't turn the sketch, I just streeetched it a bit for my card.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the DT...

We'd love to have you come and play along with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

Like your card, Debbie. Have always liked that stamp. Never thought about how to make a rectangle with a square die. Thanks for the idea.

Such a pretty card Debbie! I've never thought about folding my paper to make a square into a rectangle when using a die! Awesome idea! I never would have noticed the fold if you hadn't mentioned it.

Debbie, that silhouette image is just wonderful. It really works so well with this week's sketch. Beautiful die, too.

Such a fun card that reminds me of spring. Will it ever get here? Your silhouette image is wonderful and I love the frame you used for it.

What a clever idea to turn a square die into a rectangle. Must try that!

I would have never thought to do that with a die! And I am so dependent on the stamp-a-ma-jig for straight stamping (just my 2 cents). Such a pretty overall feel.

Turned... stretched... whatever you want to call it. I call it wonderful! I love the mat you have behind the beautiful image. Great job!
